Does a person who asks a question, receive another email if the same answer is edited?

I'm wondering if it's better to use the comment section if we think of something else to add to our answer rather than editing the previous answer. That way the person who originally asked the question won't get two or three nearly identical answers. Instead the person would get an email that included the new point only. Does the person who asks the question get the tweaked answer in his email every time it is edited?

Hi Debby,

No, the person should only get e-mailed once when the answer is posted, and not when it's edited. I've confirmed this by editing this answer. Let me know if you get two.
