I only know that the 4th of May is called St. Florian's day. St. Florian is considered the patron saint of firefighters.

Some jokes presume that the reader/hearer has the same knowledge as the the one/s making the joke/s.  (I can remember a particular movie theatre/cinema, which was showing a particular movie, answering every phone call with "Grease is the word".  Similarly with "may the force be with you".)

That's why I said in my original post "for those who remember the movies". I realized that not everyone may get it, but it was still my desire just to make someone smile. Melanie, I get the "Grease" reference, another smile.   Thanks everyone.

It gave me a smile.  

(Memory also says that a particular theatre/cinema also used "frankly, my dear, how may we help you?" at the 1980s re-screening of a certain other movie.  I don't think they do that now.)

That was like coming across an odd You Tube the other day with Doctor Who lookalikes performing the Time Warp dance. Without the context, I'm not sure anyone would have understood what they were watching, other than some odd clip selections that didn't make much sense. Having seen both Doctor Who and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I sort of found it... disturbing, to quote another famous Star Wars line.
