Why are the thank yous on my nav home page showing as IP addresses?

For the past week or so my thank yous are appearing as a series of numbers I assume an IP address not the name of the member.  When i click on it it leads me nowhere so Im not sure who is thanking me.  Is there a problem?

Hi! Because the person who »thanked you« wasn't loged in when the thank you took place.

Thanks Hans, but i thought that usually showed up as anonymous?
The name shows up as anonymous in G2G questions, but if you click on such a name, you'll see a list of G2G questions asked, answered, or commented on by the ip address of that particular "anonymous".

I assumed these people are not members - it never occurred to me that they're members who are not logged in at the time.
