James Lash born December 31, 1815

Question

I purchased a Bible that belonged to James Lash. He dated it, in his own hand. Also one name is John Lash, born May 4, 1841. It has many births, marriages and deaths in the family genealogy. I would like to return it to the rightful family!

James A. Lash married Ellen Fowler- no date

John B. Lash married Sarah A. Rellen on the banks of the north branch of the Potomac River in the state of MD, Allegiance county, about 7 miles below Cumberland ( taken from the family record

That is a great thing to do with something that should be a family heirloom.

Are there any locations mentioned? Having that might help find descendants.

The are over 900 Lash profiles here, only about 6 are James.

You might go to the Find Menu and type in the surname Lash. Scan through the list for others, you might find a profile manager who will be thrilled to have that Bible.
