G2G: Why did the Jeannets from Burgundy, France, emigrate to the Fort Worth TX area. Anyone?

One of the brothers was Henri Jeannet; the sister was a Catherine Jeannet, I believe. They appear on the ship manifest and disembarked in NY, not Louisiana.  I'd like to know why they went directly to Fort Worth TX area.
