Store owners Gelsenkirchen/Wattenscheid about 1909 - Any information you can add ?

Hello, I transcripted, translated and placed a family chronicle at Wikitree, which includes also a lot of advertisement for stores in Gelsenkirchen/Germany. Date is about 1909. https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Familienchronik_Augustin_Frebel&public=1

I would appreciate any additional information. Unfortunately, besides the profiles I created from my family, none of the mentioned people are on WikiTree yet.

Thanks in advance for any help. Corrections to the English would be welcomed as well :-).

Update: I am looking for at least including birth & death date and the time they had the store into the freespace page. Thanks for pointing out to be more prezise.

A beautiful page, a treasure for all.  Thank you.

Meanwhile I found for one of the advertising Persons Albert Gompertz, fur trader, some information: http://www.gelsenzentrum.de/gompertz_family.htm. Albert Gompertz the grandson put it together.

In the resource on the photographs, there is no additional information other that J. Volk is Jacob Volk.

So I just need to be patient (what I am not good in), once in a while you run over infos.

What informations do you need? there are city directories, but I don't know what types of information you need.

Really wondering if someone can access the search of the „Fotostudios“ source page. Everytime I try to get to the name, I get a database error: http://www.fotorevers.eu/de/fotograf/

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_query() in /kunden/133126_79539/fotorevers/de/catalog1.php:257 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /kunden/133126_79539/fotorevers/de/catalog1.php on line 257

So I can not look up J. Volk in that database....

Looks like they have problems with the German language version, http://www.fotorevers.eu/fotograf/Volk/199/ works

I also just sent a note to the site owner to fix it.

The page is amazing! I love how you have used columns for the different translated versions. Well done! smiley

Thank you. Took me a while to figure out a good way for bi-lingual .... so now on my wish list, to may be do my direct ancestors pages similar way. One day... first I have to get them in... :-) then I worry about translations.
