How do Veteran Stickers get reviewed and approved?

Question

I have identified some ancestors as serving in the Revolutionary War. So, I want to add veteran stickers to their profile. In instances where no profile exists I want to create a profile. Before I go farther on this quest is there anything special I need to do?

I don't know that we have a formal process for reviewing and approving the use of stickers or veteran's recognition. However, if you have questions regarding its use, feel free to ask. As it relates towards putting it on Revolutionary War veteran's profiles, I see no problems with that.

Please use the 1776 Sticker:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:1776_Sticker  

It has only 3 parameters. You do need to figure out which unit the person served in, or at least the state their unit was from.
