In honor of the anniversary of her death, this week we're featuring Anne Boleyn, who is believed to haunt the Tower of London, in the Connection Finder.

Featured alongside her are other purported ghosts:

Who are you most closely connected to? If you're one of the 22,554,000 of us who are connected to each other on our big tree you can check with the Connection Finder.

You can check for shared ancestors with the Relationship Finder. Are you a cousin to any of them? Your Relationship Finder Quick Links page (see your profile pull-down menu under "Relationships") has quick links for several notable groups.

Let us know below! If you want to share your connection on social media with cousins and friends, click the "get shareable image" below the results, e.g. on this connection between Empress Matilda and Julia Staab. Then just upload it along with the URL of your direct connection. (Please refrain from sharing your connection on the featured profiles, though. It clutters conversations on research and collaboration. Thanks!)

P.S. Help us choose and improve profiles for next week's feature: Military Heroes!

Julia (Schuster) Staab - 18°
William Jacob Lemp Sr - 24°
Christopher William Crawley - 26°
Peter Johannes Linders - 36°

Alice (Beaconshaw) Lisle - 15° - 11th C 12xR
Anne Boleyn - 17° - 4th C 12xR
Katherine (Farmer) Morgan - 17° - 15th C
Dorothy (Walpole) Townshend - 18° - 6th C 9xR
Evelyn Frances McHale - 19° - 11th C 1xR
Brita (Gustavsdotter) Gustafsdotter - 24° - 15th C 12xR
Matilda (Normandie) of England - 25° - 23rd great grandmother

An oldie but a goodie, but since this was new in my feed...

I see patterns whenever I first see things due to my brain damage. 2 things jump out out at me with 1 ghost being the exception. First, all the female ghosts are related to me but for that exception, & all ghosts unrelated to me are males, but for that exception. And taking that exception even further, if she were related to me, her CC7 would be closer than either QEII (20°) or KB (19°).
Empress Matilda is my 25th great grandmother. 26°

Anne Boleyn is my third cousin 16 times removed.  19°

Lady Alice Lisle is my 14th cousins 10 times removed. 16°

My closest is to Alice Lisle at 17, but my second-closest is to Anne Boleyn at 19, which I wasn't surprised by; my great-grandma Dorothy, who preceded me as the family historian, managed to trace our family's descent from Mary Boleyn, her sister, many years ago.
by Thomas Koehnline G2G6 Pilot (102k points)
Then you are my cousin, also, as I am a direct descendant of Mary Boleyn and her husband, Miles Cary.    I was named for the Cary family, as is the custom with family names in the South.    I have a second cousin named Miles Cary.   Send me a message.    I would love to know your line of descent.

Empress Matilda was my 27th great-grandmother, Anne Boleyn my 5th cousin, 14 times removed, and Dorothy Townshend my 9th cousin, 9 times removed.

Although not directly related, growing up in a suburb of St. Louis, my family frequently ate at the Lemp Mansion and once did the ghost tour they conduct. It's a beautiful home, but I didn't see any ghosts.
