Hi,

half of my ancestors come from Norway: Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Aalesund, Sognefjord with some from Sweden in ealier generations, some relatives who emigrated to Minnesota in the 19th century.
would like to participate in the Nordic project

worked as a genealogist at the Oldenburg state archives for six years parttime, doing professional genealogy during the other half of the time, 26 years halftime as a city archivist and 17 years as a parttime county archivist. Now as a pensioner I am helping the local (23) lutheran churches with their historical papers

and the genealogists in the eastern half of Germany as

a member of the board (www.amf-verein.de)

I'm interested in joining the Nordic Project, as I have Norwegian ancestors, and my husband has Danish. I've researched Danish and Norwegian Parish Registers extensively. I'd like to help, when I'm available.

I would like to join the Nordic project. I have ancestors (and still maintain contact with living relatives) located around the Vaxjö area in Sweden. My main concern is with getting help reading the difficult (to me) cursive writing found in the Swedish Houshold Records, Birth and Baptism Records, etc.

Hei.Jeg har drevet med Slektsforsking siden 1990 og har funnet at jeg har nok bare Norske aner og da flest i Telemark.Min kone har slekt som også grener til Danmark så dette prosjektet vil nok passe for meg.Fint om jeg kunne bli med.

My father's side is represented by Danish and Swedish ancestors. I would love to join your Danish and Swedish Project, the Nordic project and complete the Nordic Trail.

Also, I am looking forward to learn to become an accurate contributor to WikiTree.

Hi,

I'd like to join the Nordic project. I'm hoping to add/edit pre-1700 profiles for people who lived in the Nordic countries and I'd prefer some help with those. An additional issue with some profiles is that I'm unsure under which project's "jurisdiction" they belong to, considering that some of them are Scottish nobles and Baltic Germans living in then-Sweden.

Ancestors on my father's side are from Blekinge, Halland, Kristianstad, Malmöhus, and Älvsborg Counties. I have one great grandmother on my mother's side from Lillehammer Norway. I have been recently I have been adding migration categories.

Hello ! Would love to join Nordic project. Since my Grandmother, Alice Johnson's parents came from Norway, and last year, I found out that my Great Grandmother, Sophia W. Larsen's mother was from Sweden.

Hello everyone, I would like to join the project. According to WikiTree, I am one of the millions of direct descendants of the Viking Rollo, Canute Danmark, early kings and queens of Scandinavian countries, and Margaret Oldenburg von Danmark who was betrothed to King James Stewart of Scotland when she was 4-yrs old. My DNA shows 11.3% Viking Danish, 7.04% Viking Swedish, and 6.45% Viking Norwegian.
