The mother of famous actress  Gene Eliza Tierney. Howard S. Tierney it appears divorced her November 28, 1942 in Carson City, Nevada and then went immediate to Reno to marry Mrs. Helen Byram Burdick. We need help adding Belle’s marriage date.

Al's not in the 1870 census, pension is to widow, may have been a war casualty, didn't look further into that because you do soldiers

I found him mentioned in the son in laws George Emmanuel Bernard Hart (1860 - 1895) obit. Mr. Hart died of Typhoid fever. This is a match to your source!
