Please help with source formatting AGAIN!

I see sources for Harris-8299 under a sources heading, but still getting "needs source information" message? I suspect I have it formatted improperly, and am wondering if I'll ever understand it?!  Any repeat help with this would be much appreciated, Thanks, Dave

That should be just a matter of deleting the {{unsourced}} from the profile.

On top of you having to remove the banner you have a couple of other problems to properly source the profile.  Family trees are not considered a reference.  Where you find the information to marriages, births, deaths, censuses, etc. is a reference.  Familysearch is not a full reference.  I added the cemetery note but it was FOUND on family search.  The reference tells you where specifically it can be found on family search.  That is the reference and tells you what it is.  You may remove the no sources banner yourself.

I'm still not getting the "edit sources" procedure, check Loynes-94.  I cleared everything in the source box, clicked the big "C" in the editor, it says enter source between markers, I put in my Find A Grave source, click save and all I see is

== Sources ==[1]

Can't figure out what I'm missing?

Thanks again, Dave

David, you want to place your cursor (by clicking your mouse) positioned at the end of the statement in the biography that is supported by your source - that's when you click that big "C".  After you enter the source citation between the <ref> and </ref> tags that are put there when you click that "C", when you look at the view page, they will appear beneath the Sources heading.

Apparently, you clicked the big "C" when your cursor was at the end of the 2 equal signs that are part of the code that makes "Sources" a heading on the view page.  That's why you see the footnote link there.
