After more than a year of steadily reviewing the thousands of profiles that displayed the project box of the US Southern Colonies Project but were not managed by the project, as required by WikiTree, and an intense effort of the past month or so, the US Southern Colonies Project no longer has a massive imbalance between the number of profiles displaying the project box and the number of profiles it manages (3500+ / 760 before the April Clean-a-Thon).
While Jillaine and David Douglass were spearheading this effort when they were the Team Leaders of the project's Pre-1700 and 1700-1776 Managed Profiles Teams (respectively), I am super grateful that Jillaine continued her efforts after stepping down from the project's Leadership Team.
Shout-out too to Ken S. and Aleš for their recent help.
The project still needs to review the remaining ~1500 profiles that Editbot switched from project box to project sticker, but WOW! 2000 profiles manually cleared between 21 April and 23 May!!
THANK YOU Jillaine!! It has been a pleasure working with you on this effort.
Cheers, Liz (co-leader, US Southern Colonies Project)
