Lydia Bowman { Bowman-1157 } and my Lydia Bowman { Bowman-4245 } I think are one and the same. Problem is Bowman-1157 has father Calvin N. Bowman-1175 age only nine years older than his daughter Lydia Bowman { Bowman-1157 }. My research shows Lydia Bowman-4245 as daughter of Samuel B. Bowman as per census 1850 found at Question: how does one resolve this problem? Thanks for any help.

Great Question.  This is what makes Wikitree unique.  You need to reach out to the Profile Manager (PM) of the other profile and Collaborate.

Go ahead and set up an Unmerged Match. You can find this at the bottom of the profile.  Then contact the other PM and try and open a discussion on resolving the issue.

You have a great opening question with the Age discrepancy.  If the other PM agrees, then complete the Merge.  You can read more in the Help Dropdown on the upper right of your profile.

Thanks for bringing this question to G2G.  Be sure to let us know when you are done or if you need futher help.

If you don't get a response from the profile manager of the other profile, which is possible as he hasn't made any contributions for a number months, then see the page on
