Would you like to join the American Revolutionary War (1776) Project? [closed]

Question

Do you have ancestors who participated in the American Revolutionary War?  Do you have an interest in the historical aspects of this war?  If so, we are looking for new members to join.

Project recognition (and Wikitree member participation) is not limited to the soldiers and civilians who fought for American independence - this project recognizes service from all nationalities including British, French, Spanish, Native American, and others.

The requirements to join are that your account is at least 1 month old, you have a minimum of 100 Wikitree contributions, and that you join one of the project's teams:

When you post your answer, please specify what team you want to join and after you have been added to the project and received your badge, please sign up to the Google Group and be sure to include your Wikitree ID in your join request.

I would love to help. Currently I am a researcher for the Friends of the FIshkill Supply Depot non-profit group. Our research is mainly centered on finding soldiers that had died at the Depot which also had a hospital. No known comprehensive list of those that died exists from the time so we are examining source documents such a unit muster rolls as found in FOLD3 and elsewhere.

I am a descendant of 15 patriots who have been verified by the NSDAR as  supporters of the cause of American Independence through military service, civil service, provided goods, or paid supply taxes.  I am interested in participating in this project.  I am a member of the DAR and have spent over 25 years assisting in research to help other descendants of patriots join the DAR, SAR, and C.A.R.

Yes, I would like to contribute to this project. Almost all of the info I have on my GGGGFather came from his pension application.  I'd like to collaborate with others to research what led these men to war and what became of them in the following years.

I would like to join this, but HOW???

I tried to ADD a 1776b "bell", but HOW???  Extremely complicated to do anything.  Almost makes me give up.

I keep clicking on  ANSWER, but nothing happens!

I don't know how to find my Wikitree ID number.  I THINK it is Morrey-74.

When you say add the bell I'm assuming you want to put this on an ancestor profile?  Can you share the link to your ancestor and we can see about getting them the sticker (bell).

I have several ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War.  Some come to mind: Cushing 2101, Donoho 90, Goodenow 485, Goodenow 380.

If I knew how to do this, I would be able to add bells to many others (of my ancestors) as I can locate them.
