Having done a fair bit of research on the Eland family in Hutton Rudby, Yorkshire, the tree is (more or less) fine up to the marriage of John Eland and Esther Willes and her parents.
Ann is wrongly transcribed here as Appleton
"England Marriages, 1538–1973 ," index, FamilySearch (
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N2K6-HQD : accessed 9 May 2015), George Willas and Ann Appleton, 1744; citing Hutton Rudby,York,England, reference ; FHL microfilm 918,436.

The actual parish register image on FMP shows Ann Whorlton.

George Willes yeoman married Ann Whorlton 4 Jun 1744
There are Whorltons in Hutton Rudby (Edit: and Appletons), and George is the only Willes that appears to be having children. Just to confuse things, there is an Ann Appleton born 1715 in Hutton Rudby.
There is no birth for Esther in the parish register until 1757 (daughter of George) which would make her too young probably! to marry John Eland in 1769 (I’ve been through the relevant pages)
On top of that they may be the wrong parents of Esther - due to this:

Memorials to the above families abound in All Saints church and family tombs are located in the churchyard, also a plaque commemorating those who died during the cholera epidemic in the 1840s and buried in a common grave. However, my favourite monumental inscription is one that we would all love to find giving so much family information; In memory of John WILLES [farmer] d. Jan 12 1789 aged (8?)3. John son of John & Esther ELAND d. Feb 4 1789 aged 16. Sarah wife of John Eland snr d. Oct 28 1789 aged 67. John Eland snr d. Nov 18 1789 aged 73. Esther relict of John Willes d. May 14 1791 aged 77. Esther dau of John & Esther Eland d. May 10 1797 aged 25. John Eland clerk otp for 38yrs d. Apr 28 1822 aged 76. Esther relict of John Eland d. Aug 4 1825 aged 84yrs. Thomas son of John Eland d. May 6 1853 aged 76. Mary wife of James Eland d. Dec 31 1854 aged 78. James son of John Eland d. Oct 27 1862 aged 84. Reverse. Mary Ann dau of James & Elizabeth d. Jan 20 1839 aged 20. Esther Ann dau of Edmund & Martha TAYLOR d. Aug 3 1837 aged 26. Martha relict of Edmund Taylor d. Mar 7 1854 aged 70.
I adopted Esther’s profile where someone had kindly added this:
DOB or parents may be wrong: "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," index, FamilySearch (
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NP3C-7H4 : accessed 9 May 2015), Esther Willas, 03 Jun 1744; citing BROTTON,YORK,ENGLAND, reference ; FHL microfilm 573,987. Daughter of John and Esther Eland. (Typo, should read Willas)
Any opinions please? I think my brain is full, though it looks clearer now I’ve written it out. Not being in the UK I can't check out the memorial inscription. Sorry if it's a bit long.
