Have you registered for the 2021 Connect-a-Thon yet? [closed]

The third annual Connect-a-Thon is coming up soon! The goal of our marathon event: decrease the number of profiles that are not connected to our big tree by adding relatives to existing profiles [more participation info].

The event will start on Friday, July 23, at 8 AM (EDT) and run until Monday, July 26, at 8 AM (EDT).

Will you join us?

To register, just click the ANSWER button and say "Sign me up!" or whatever and include a few words about your location and/or genealogical interests. This will help us assign you to a team. If you already know what team you'd like to be on, say that. The current teams are listed here.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 21 July 2021 at midnight EDT, is the last day to register to have your contributions counted for a team and be eligible for the t-shirt drawings. Please join us!

Just curious. Did we actually start at 7:00 a.m. Eastern rather than 8:00? Still a quarter till 8:00 and there are already almost 1,450 points on the scoreboard.

Yes!  Sign me up!  I have been working a cemetrist project and I am currently working on 3 cemeteries.  One is near my home in the Boise Idaho area but it is currently my lowest priority.  The other two are in Barbour county Alabama where my dad grew up.  I’m currently adding profiles to the cemetery.  My plan, once I finish the first cemetery is to try to get all the profiles connected.  So this is good timing and gives me incentive to get those profiles in! ❤️

Hi Nanette! That sounds like a great project and your helping two sites. You might be interested in joining the Southern Super Sweepers as we cover Alabama. We would love to get more Alabama profiles sourced and connected and I believe your project would be beneficial to us as well as the cemetery your working with.  Let me know what you think!!
