From what remains of notes from my research ,rhoda knowles ,dau of richard knowles jr. ,b.1745 and 2nd wife esther mc dowell ,married Unknown Henderson . cannot find notes on their children ,if any. rhoda had at least one sibling , named joshua. her half-siblings ,whose mother was 1st wife prudence marvel ,were david knowles b.1776, marvel knowles b. ?, and richard knowles 3rd b.c.1780- who was in tuscaloosa co al in 1830 , married to delila martin .FYI:this is the first time name rhoda appears in knowles history , and it is likely the name of her mother,s mother or grandmother.this is the wing of the md/del family that went westward , rather than southward during Rev. War era , into Ga, into Al ,and a few into Miss and Texas.. Good Luck , tom knowles
