Families with the name Spica or Spitza in their Family tree , who does have polish roots is of my interest,so if you do have,give me some feedback. Konrad

I try to collect all the Spica/Spitza with origin roots from Poland (today) or former a part of Germany.

I do live in Norway.

Hi Konrad, a part of my family on my mother side in Poland, has Spitza as a surname. The problem is, that they have changed their family's name to Śpica. So Josef Spitza b. 1881 in Gostycyno k. Tuchola change it to Śpica. He had married Józefa Kobus, they had daughters Elżbieta Śpitza b.1907, Anna Śpica (Spitza) b.1913, and Feliks Śpica b.1911.

Józefa Kobus second marriage was with Piotr Rauhut, who is my great-grandfather.

Here are the same by me change from Spitza to Spica. My father made also this Change, but here in Norway we do not have the apostrof on the " S " in our alphabet.

I do have the name you mention og Spica's, but not shure about the dates.

Places is also known for me.

I have to look into my papers.

Mi great grandmothers name was Anna Spitza. She married Josef Kobus from Liebenau, Poland today.She was born 1868.  Their chikd Johann Kobus waswmy grandfather. I don't have any more inforinform about her and her ancestors. She died 1.4.1926.

Where did she live and died?

AS far I have names, she is not on my list, but I do miss A lot of names.

My info about Year 1840 to 1870 is with lots of gaps.

I keep your info and time will show, whats's coming up.
