Hi Theophil,

Are you familiar with the US censuses?  Some more than others can be a rich source of information.  I'm also gusessing since this person was born in Germany and died in Utah, that he may have been a Mormon convert with information available from LDS records.   German converts were much less common than English and Scandinavian...so this will be interesting to pursue and add to his biography on WikiTree!

I can look up the information for you on Ancestry if you wish (he's there) but I don't want to post the info for you unless you want me to because if Emil is your ancestor, disovering the information for yourself is fun and gratifying. Ancestry may still be offering free 2 week trials.

According to the 1910 Census for Utah, Emil was a "Packer" at a hardware company in Salt Lake City.

In 1920, he was a "Timberman" at a coal mine, Storrs, Carbon, Utah

I've added the sources on his profile: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Reichert-119
