Member deleted bio, headings and sources for unknown reason

Question

Found this profile and don't know why the biography, sources and headings were deleted. Left very little on the profile. Not sure what to do here.

You should probably delete the references to the Wikitree member from your question, we don't call out individuals publicly.  You can always restore the biography to its' previous state, but the information appeared to be unsourced, so may not be accurate.  If you have an ongoing problem with a specific member you can use the "Problems with Members" process to get help.

They took quite a bit out and you've made changes since then.  Open the change log and copy out the deleted info, the add it back in as you see fit.

Hi, Linda -- I removed the link to the profile you were talking about since this is a more general question.

We try not to make it easy to identify people who are struggling. :-)

It might be that she accidentally overwrote the bio she had added, and it was just a mistake. It looks like you've gotten some good advice from others about how to fix up the profile.

Sometimes members find out that the information is incorrect or that sources are not reliable, if a member has deleted the information I would respect that and try to talk to the member. If you can't then try to find a reliable source for the information before adding it back to the profile, no point in adding misinformation.

The edit removed the bio and it appears the sources listed which were FindAGrave sources. One source deleted is her FindAGrave memorial Here.
