Hello everyone! Have you wanted to help the Adoption Angels Project, but weren't sure how? Do you have skills at finding resources? AA needs your help!
We are looking for someone who would like to coordinate our resources. What does this mean? We need someone who will ask for help from others to research and organize resources for adoptees by locations (as well as resources for those looking for birth parents, but not adopted). This means finding information by state, province, and country on what paperwork is available to adoptees and how to obtain it. You wouldn't have to do all the research yourself (unless you really want to), but can ask for help from others within the project or on g2g. You don't need to have much experience with adoption, but you will need to learn some basics to organize the information.
Here is one of our landing pages for resources by location. Each of these locations needs lots of work.
You will need to join our project, so you need to have been a member of WikiTree for at least 3 months and have signed the honor code.
If you don't want to be a coordinator, but would be happy to help with some of the research by location, please post below and let me know. The coordinator can reach out to you. You don't need to join the project to help the coordinator.
