Other Cases

The Jury in the case of Sarah E. Myers indicted for keeping a bawdy and disorderly house on West Patrik street in that section of the town known as "Battletown" after being out some time, came down Saturday afternoon with a verdict of guilty. The court sentenced her to serve nine months in the county jail. The judge said he could not blame the people in that section of town for wanting to get rid of her and if she knew her daughter was incorrigible she should have her sent away.

On the indictment for a similar charge against her husband Luther Myers a verdict of not guilty was rendered by the Court. Reno S. Harp appeared for the traversers.
