I am!  Although I am researching the family tree and don't have much to add except that I am the great granddaughter of Norman Magoon and Grandaughter of Norma Magoon.

Do you have the book   George Magoon and Down East Game War written by Edward D. Ives, chairman of the Anthropology dept. at the University of Maine.?  My Bagley & Lund family were very close in Jacksonville, ME.

George was a notorious moose and deer poacher Maine, was the hero of scores of funny stories of how he outwitted game wardens. The book focuses on many things one of which is the increasingly restrictive game laws. George F. Magoon b: 1851    mother : Susan Dewey and her mother was Charlotte Dewey who took the name of her new husband William Graham born in Ireland about 1784.  Father: Ephraim Magoon

I have family legend that my great grandmother and her sister, Bertha and Katie Fahey of St George, New Brunswick, once orphaned, were raised or somehow cared for by George Magoon.  Bertha was born 1880 and ended up married to Chester Clark jr, bangor, Maine 1901.  Any living Magoons with any recollection of such a thing, please contact me.
