Loving Fan Charts

I have always used Ancestry for many year to build my tree, and then transfer it over slowly to wikitree, believing Ancestry to have the best records I havent bothered with other sites much.

Recently having done a dna test I uploaded my dna and gedom to MyHeritage to find more matches, and discovered their ancestor fan chart which is absolutely fantastic.

Then I discover there is a a fanchart within Wikitree as well, not as pretty but certainly very useful.

So my question are

1. Currently is it only available for me or can I apply it to any person

2. Can it be integrated into wikitree properly so that you access it for nay person currently browsing

 3. Can someone take a look at the one on MyHeritage to see a better version that could be worked towards.

1. You can use the fan chart for anyone.  Go to the top menu.  New Fan > New Profile Fan Chart

2. On any profile go to 'Family Tree and Tools' and scroll down to 'Fan Chart'.  If you install Auto WikiTree Tables + (a Chrome extension), you can have a Fan Chart link/button on every profile.

3. I'll leave that one for Greg, the author of the app.

I hope that helps.

Okay thanks for that.

Better install Chrome then (currently use Firefox)

I haven't tried it, but it seems you can install Chrome extensions on Firefox, too, now: https://mashtips.com/install-chrome-extensions-firefox/  <-- Dead link

I know you can do this on Opera, which I sometimes use.

Edited to apologise for answering too quickly...

Sorry.  It seems maybe you can't use Chrome extensions on Firefox (though maybe it was possible before).  (But you can do it on Opera... which doesn't really help you, I know).
