I have a line where a gggrgrandmother m my gggrgrandfather they parted, and she partnered with another they had 12 children.  It was 40 yrs after partnering they married.  All 12 of their children were out of wedlock.  Family tradition says they married to make the children legitimate, so that they could marry in the church.

There is an online family tree in which she died in 1757 and has only one child, Benjamin.

Another possibility is that the death date was supposed to be *after* the marriage date. Even that is not ideal.  Such an estimate should be after the birth of her last child.
