 Evert DeWitt married Gertrude Persen, daughter of Abraham Person and Catrina Schoonmaker. Evert DeWitt was baptized in 1733. He was the son of Lucas DeWitt Jr. and Catherine Roosa.

Her married name was DeWitt.
