Hi, I am interested (and descended) from McGowan's who moved to Bradford from Sligo in the late 1850's earlier 1860's. The family is as follows:- Patrick b 1833 & Mary b.1837 Children Mary Ellen b.1856, John Henry b. 1857, Edward Joseph b. 1862 (my great grandfather) Bridget b. 1869, Ellen b.1870 and Patrick b.1872 They lived in Granby St, Hardy St and Bolling Rd according to census info. Just wondering if you have come across any of these McGowan during your research?
