Where to find Death records from Denmark

I am trying to find the death record for Lars Christoffersen, born 26 Jul 1826 in Keldby, Fanefjord, Mondo, Praesto, Denmark.  He married Maren Kirstine Rasmussen on 8 Sep 1854.  Supposedly he died on 23 May 1861, but I don't have any source.  His first wife, Kirsten Nielsdatter, born 7 Oct 1820 reportedly died 22 Oct 1853.  Where is the best place to find death records?

I have cited Maren Rasmussen's WikiTree ID for information.

Another question would be when did the Danes stop using the patronymic convention?  Some records have her as Rasmussen and some as Rasmusdatter.

Thank you for your help!

Death records are in the church records - normally the parish where they died.

Lars in Fanefjord sogn 1861 no 9 Death record Lars and Kirsten 1853 no 21 Death record Kirsten

Namelaw in 1828 to stop using patronym - but the change was gradual over the next 50 years or so. No last name in birthrecord, then it is normally patronym.

And the actual marriage for Peder and Maren Kirstine 1862 no 12 Marriage Peder og Maren Kirstine There is some nice family relations in the record.

Thank you Hanne, would you please translate the marriage record for me?

Thank you
Hi,

Mabey somebody can read more of the marriage record than i can.

But the first part is:

No. 12 - Bachelor Peder Nielsen of (town mabey Udby) , Stege Landsogn(thats the Parish) 36 years. -

Widow after Lars Christoffersen, Maren Kristine Rasmussen of Haarbølle, 30 years.
Thank you for your help.  I am really interested in Hanne's comment above about there being some nice family relations in the record.  What could they be?

In addition to church records, if the person had property, you may find some probate records.  I've found some on Danish Family Search.
