Did not find anything to verify Rena's middle initial. Accuracy depends on the handwriting of the census taker and of whoever reads what is written.

The 1900 Census, Iowa, Fremont, Walnut ED60 page 4B has a very clear Rena B.

I have found so many variations of middle initials. Parents seem to change up childrens middle and first names as well. I have found many death certificates to have conflicting information, even on birth year. lol Generally I go with the birth certificate or information that is from the time frame a person is living. If you know you have the right person, but have conflicting information on middle initial, then I just wouldnt enter one at all.
