The lineage for him is held by the DuBois Family Association in New Paltz. It can be found on a pdf by googling John DuBois Drexel.edu But it can't be reprinted without permission.

There is extensive history there that is not here, starting from Louis DuBois-14 (son of Chrethien) down through

Louis DuBois III born1717 (DuBois-2571),

Matthias DuBois born 1747 (DuBois-2570),

John DuBois born 1777 (brother of Daniel: Dubois-2569) and then John, born in 1809 in Owego New York who is not listed here. He has 10 siblings. He owned a large lumber mill and established the city, DuBois Pennsylvania.

I was just wondering if anyone is interested in extending the DuBois lineage through this line. The last 3 entries are not managed by the New Netherland Settlers Project.

Some info about John is at this link but not the lineage, which is available for reading by googling: "John Dubois Drexel.edu pdf"

Thank you.

Somewhat unrelated but interesting to me because in my associated Spencer line (which goes back to France in 1300's) who also lived in Ulster County NY where New Paltz is, their "Abby Spencer" married one  in 1857 in Ulster County.  There were children of that union.  He died rather young there after working in the lead mines.  Abby died in NY City NY.
