FYI Profile: Jackson Clan DNA I-Y8950

Two elderly genealogical friends and distant relatives got concerned that their fifteen years of family history could be lost. This free-space profile will support that information but in addition present a multi-branched  Y-DNA Jackson family history. It is the story of the 54 men tested at FTDNA all of one clan, but four branches with five patriarchs. The relationships between the branches determined by the Big Y testing and the downstream picture of the haplotree.

Excellent news to see a more developed project from the Jackson Family site taking shape over here on Wikitree.

I am a Robert Jackson descendant, so put me on the list as a Jackson researcher, even if I do not have a Y. I have autosomal and mtDNA tested of course, though the autosomal is barely relevant and the mtDNA is not.

I performed an analysis using the publically available 111STR and SNP YDNA data and created a chart of the relationships.  Most Recent common ancestor calculated to be circa 1600 (1500-1750).

Here is link to chart:  Jackson Tree I-Y8950

I like the layout of the chart, but these old eyes won't read the small print.  Is there any way for me to enlarge what I'm seeing?
Janie;

When I open it up using Chrome or Edge as the browser, there is are switches at the bottom that allows one to zoom in and out.  It is a large diagram, so you may need to zoom more than once.
Thanks, that helps a lot!

I’d be interested in this.  One side of my tree is Jackson.  I haven’t been able to go back further than the 1820’s in North Carolina to my 4x Great-Grandfather, ‘Diacleason Jackson.’  I always wondered where his ancestors came from.  I assumed Ireland.

I don’t know how I can help but here is my page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Crayk-9

And my ancestor’s page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Jackson-40820

My GEDMATCH is linked to my page.
