Victor Larkin was a veteran of the U.S. Civil War FindAGrave

Family search has Stephen Brooks 1790-1854 and Martha Darling 1793-1868 connected as her parents. More research needed

yes  I  also  saw  that  source  but  could  find  no  actual  document  Thank  you  all   for  responding. I  called  the  Library  at  Rindge, they  do  not  house  any  of  those  documents  there. I  did  search  LDS microfilm  800  plus  pages, I  have  been  through  about  139 pages.

Glad I could help and it’s a good g2g maybe someone will have more info laugh some really good history in this lineage yes

I  have  emailed  with  someone from  Ingalls  Library who is  a very  good  researcher  so  I  am  told,  in  Rindge   NH who  is  willing  to help. The  document of marriages  births  and  deaths  Is  indexed  I  found, all  hand  written. but  still  requires  much  reading.

We’re going to have to start from the most recent and work back in time due to just an ancestry source citation with no verifiable source. I found the 1870 census of victor and Adelia Larkin with family listed. Will see where the trail leads hopefully with more sources we can find the answer to your question. laugh

this  is   based  on  a DAR  application

Salmon Stone   DAR patriot, 1744 MA died Rindge, NH d 4 Oct 1831 married Susanna Page

daughter Ede b 1768 married Amos Darling 1787

daughter Martha Darling b 1793 married Stephen Brooks II 1813.  They  had  multiple children  most  listed  in  the  source that  was  cited. They  had  a  daughter  Rachel  documented  b 1792 so  I  question a  daughter  born  Nov 1793 but possible.  I have searched  through a lot of  the  800 plus  pages marriages, births  from  Rindge
