Our grandmother was born a Morrison, but when she married our grandfather D. Fred Russell she was listed as Ellinwood.  That was her mother Philomena's maiden name.  Sort of confusing.

Did she marry twice?
There is a birth record, 1905, for Theodore Roosevelt Russell -father Fred Daniel Russell, mother Eva E. (maiden name Morrison). On Theodore's marriage record, 1928 , his mother is Eva Ellenwood.

On the marriage record for her son Rodney, 1945, maiden name of Eva is Morrison and she's Morrison on her own death record

Other records have her maiden name as Ellenwood.
Just a thought is Eva E Morrison actually Eva Ellinwood Morrison. Was she originally named Ellinwood because the parents were yet to marry and once they did her birth record was amended?
