multiple duplicated children

Question

I was just perusing a surname I am interested in...not one of my own and I came across a profile with multiple duplicated children. Schall-77

I think I count 12 Caspars, 8 Christinas, 8 Johannes, 2 Jacobs.

I have no interest in this profile beyond the fact that it irritates me to see all these duplicated children.  I don't know how to tell if the manager is still active. I don't mind proposing all the merges that appear necessary.

Do I have the right to go in and clean it up.

First all you can do at this time is to propose the merges.  If the manager does not respond within 30 days then they can be merged by anyone. The other option is to send this profile manager an email about the problem and if they do not respond after say about 7 days start the unresponsive profile manager procedure in motion.  The manager of these profiles has not done anything since 2013 so they might be no longer interested in WikiTree.  But since you have no interest in the profiles then just proposing the merges would be the best thing for now and see what happens for now.

Did I see somewhere guidelines s to how to do multiple merges like this? Seems to me I merge the highest numbered profile into the next lowest and work my way down until I get to two, then merge into the lowest?
