Today's Google Doodle: Turkana Boy

For some reason, today's Google Doodle is the Turkana human fossil, co-discovered by Kamoya Kimeu and Richard Leakey.  I tried to connect the Turkana Boy to the main tree, but couldn't find any good sources. So I connected the notable Leakey family instead, starting with their patriarch, painter James Leakey. They should show up as connected tomorrow after the Wikitree supercomputer crunches all the connections.

I count 7 notables in that family tree, more to add, but some of them are still living.

Make that 8 notables with the addition of Bob Leakey, a spelunker who loved to explore leaky caves.

They are already connected. Thank you for adding this remarkable family. I can't imagine what it was like working in the Olduvai Gorge for season after  season.  Mary Leakey,  2nd wife of Louis had an interesting life  and she also has notable antecedants on her mother's side   (2x and 3x g grandfathers are already on the tree https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Frere-106 )
