Looking for information (dob, death ect) on the parents of Laura Cook. Laura was born on 8/30/1808 in Vermont.  She married Siias Burdick. She died in Michigan on1884

 

What about finding some link to Rachel Cook?

Death certificate lists father as William Cook & mother as Rachel Cook. There are several William Cooks born in the 1780's that are good candidates, but I can find no records linking to Laura.

My Great Grandfathers sister was named Laura Cook at birth and had a daughter in Michigan and aunt Laura's father was William Wolcott Cook and the family comes from Camden Oneida county New York at the time.  I think that Her Brother George who died young (still married with children) moved there and that family branch is unknown to me.  I believe they moved there from Buffalo, Erie county New York.  His Father (My gggfather) was a train engineer and spent a lot of time there with his sisters until Laura moved.
