Help with genealogy of these profiles pls.

Question

I'm looking for help with the profiles of some Balquhidder, Scotland Stewarts who's descendants went to Canada.

These are the Scotland/Canadian profiles I've been working on: [[Stewart-11593|Helen (Stewart) Ferguson (bef.1754-)]] and [[Ferguson-4363|Duncan Ferguson (abt.1750-)]].  Helen Stewart's descendents I think are in Lanark, Ontario, Canada.  I can confirm that she was born in Cuill, Balquhidder, Perthshire, Scotland but I would like to find out more about her, specifically where she died.  I can't find any records of her or her husband, Duncan Ferguson in Canada.  Her son, [[Ferguson-15565|Alexander Ferguson (1779-1853)]], definitely died in Lanark, Canada and I have both the birth and burial records to confirm that.

There is also a gravesite in https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2300277/prestonvale-cemetery for Peter Ferguson b. 1756 from Balguider/Balquhidder, Scotland, according to the inscription on his gravestone. Hi Anna,

Have you tried the census records available on the Library and Archives Canada site? If not, give that a try. I'd did a search in the 1851 census and found some Ferguson family in Lanark. Here's the link:

If you are not familiar with this site, it takes a few tries to get results. It's really helpful to use the wildcard (*) with the names.
