Sharing a 'van der Riet' family history document

Question

Last week I was given a family history of the 'van der Riet' family by a distant cousin. It was originally written in 1889, and edited in 1980. I have copied and put it up on a free space page so that others can view it: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Van_der_Riet_family_history

It's a delightful read, with a fair bit of information about other early South African families such as Herold, van Dyk, Sollier, Werndley/Werndelij and more.
