Advice on editing this pre-1700 Hancock profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of William Hancock. This is what I can add:

Will from Sussex County. I have copied the text of the will from https://geesnmore.wordpress.com/charles-gee-iii/hancock/

I have connected Benjamin Hancock, father of Celia Hancock to William who was married to Elizabeth Phillips.

I believe all of my information is correct, though my citation formatting may not be exactly as prescribed.

Thanks

Hi, Brian. Thanks for adding the text to the profile. I placed it a bit differently. Unfortunately, the website where you found the transcription does not cite a source for the will. The website itself is not considered a viable source for pre-1700 profiles. I'm guessing the will may be available through Library of Virginia or perhaps Ancestry (I think they moved their Virginia wills to a different place which I do not recall). I am retagging your question to include Southern Colonies in the hope one of the project members can find the appropriate citation for the will.
I agree that the website I am quoting from is in itself not a valid source because it does not include a citation for the text of the will. I am assuming, however, it is probably accurate given its specificity, and I am trying to find a source for the actual will. I have other sources, however, that I believe are adequate for connecting the dots between Celia Hancock, Benjamin Hancock, and William Hancock. If more knowledgeable folks feel differently, of course, I will bow to their experience.
I agree the will appears legit and correct...just hoping someone can find a direct citation for it.

The Sussex County wills are on FamilySearch.  William Hancock's will was proved in April 1766 in Sussex County, and the docket copy appears beginning at p. 38 of Will Book B, which is here

If you want to include a full citation, you could use:

Sussex County, Virginia, Will Book B, p. 38, Will of William Hancock; images, FamilySearch, "Will book, Vol. B-C 1764-1785," (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9PX-KDXX : accessed 17 Aug 2021); FHL microfilm 34,156, DGS 7,645,834.
