The information I have for this person's birth is Neu Levin, Prussia.  The profile shows that the only change is my upload of information.  I used a gedcom file from my ancestry.com account.  How did it become Levin, Germany?

It looks like your gedcom uploaded it as Levin. It was not changed after that.

I looked into the changes. There was no change after your upload. And one remark to the location. I could not find any location in Germany which is called Neu Levin. There is only a location in Brandenburg which is called Neulewin.

And an additional remark. Your Altmann profiles don't have reliable sources, only other trees are mentioned, so that we cannot proof which location is correct.
