Parker-493 won't close out edit because of e-mails which I didn't put in. I can remove them but what to do with them?

Claudia, WikiTree no longer allows personal email addresses to be posted in profiles. It's a spam/privacy issue. In fact, in this case, I would remove all of the personal information -- email address, postal address, phone number -- and just leave the correspondent's name, maybe city/state location, and website address.

Hope that helps!

I'm sorry you ran into this issue.

I have been replacing the @ and e-mail address with "[e-mail address removed]."

That's a very good solution.
Thank you.

I came across a profile a few weeks ago where someone had copied the contents of a number of emails into the bio. I had to delete the email addresses before I could save my changes. I did wonder if I should also remove the author’s name because he is not on Wikitree and I wondered if he had given his consent to his emails  being published, or even knew they had been published ? I tried reaching out to him but the email account has been closed. Any thoughts on this?
