Where to Find Records for O’Regan-202

My ancestor was born, we believe, in Kilrae , Derry, Ireland in about 1765. His wife was Ellen Duffin (all I have is a name so no profile). They had a son, Lawrence [[O’Regan-201]] also born in Derry in about 1800. His wife was [[McKinley-2719]]. Lawrence died in Hopewell, Albert, New Brunswick in about 1861. A complete tree to my generation exists.

The problem, of course, is that [[O’Regan-202]] is a brickwall and I have no idea where to start. I’ve read that for some reason records are hard to access.

Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

It's not that they are hard to find, It's that a lot of them were burned in 1922.

You can try to find some at Space:Sources-Ireland-Province-County

Thanks! I know they were burned, didn’t want to go there. After some searches based on other questions I’ve found I also need to include Northern Ireland since my records have locations in Londonderry/Derry.

Check under Ulster and then PRONI in the above list. Also under County selectable Sites.

I appreciate your help.  Proceeding slowly.
