Not sure about the accuracy of the Furey brothers WW1 story

Thanks for your response.

I've read the story of a number of Fureys being killed in WW1, but I think it may be a little exaggerated. Certainly two died (Francis and Thomas), one was aPOW and my own gfather was invalided out. I reckon my gfather and Francis and Thomas were cousins, but not brothers.

My info has Wiliam who married Mary Ward being born at Kilchreedt in 1850. I went on to become his gggrandson.

I've drafted a family chart that goes back to William's father who married Mary Cafferty around 1845 (ish).
