Hi I have been working on my family tree seriously since 2003 and I have done ok with three of my grandparents. However, for months I have hit a brick wall I cannot get past. My Great Grandmother Rose Flatley nee Flatly b 1843/1847 - 1919 cannot be found prior to her marriage to John Flatley on 13 Feb 1866 at Kilmovee Co. Mayo Ireland. which is sited in Ireland,Catholic Parish Registers, 1655 - 1915 Achonry Kilmovee -1854 - 1881
She appears in the 1891 England census with John and their 6 children and in 1901 England census in Lancashire as the Head with some of her family members. I can trace the line from her to myself via Granddad and Father , but cannot trace her birth family. I have found Hatley, Hatty, Flatty surnames as an explanation for Flatley. I have tried Cluster research and some of her children`s baptisms in National Library of Ireland. If anyone can help by sending me down another route I will be grateful. Thank you..
