Congratulations Joyce with your wings you are a treasure for wikitree

Thank you Dieter for sharing this

We are lucky to have you
That was a surprise, Dieter! How did I ever amass so many points? Besides my own, I've only created two profiles! Thank you for recognizing my efforts. I did not realize that so many people had been giving me thank you notes and awards--I've been reading them all today. I thought about you today, too--you headed off to school with your school cone--your dad picking peaches in a prisoner of war camp. Thanks for all you do.
Congrats on becoming a pilot Joyce!  Thanks for all you do.

Thank you, Alexis! Until I saw Dieter's post, I did not realize that so many people were giving me thank-yous and awards. I'm happy you like all my interesting pictures. I like yours, too. I was surprised to see that I have made over 900 comments. The very first one I made, was to tell you that Wichita once had a nude car wash. Here is the newspaper story about it. Enjoy.

Thank you Joyce for a fun article. I wonder how long it took for Wichita to get a new city ordinance.

Congratulations, Joyce.  I look forward to seeing your informative and unique contributions to the weekly G2G challenges.  You're friendly and you make us laugh.  Now that you're a pilot, please don't fly away.

Thank you, Pat. I enjoy reading your comments to me and everyone else. I like your post card collection. When I was working on the story about Feller Institute, I found a story about a postcard with a genealogy puzzle. I thought of you. Enjoy. (Here is the link.)

Joyce! That link was so interesting about the Feller College hockey team postcard.  You continue to amaze me.  I salute you as you fly by.

Thank you, Robin! I was surprised to see that I had amassed so many points, when I have created only two profiles. But it seems that all my contributions have been gaining me points--many of them from you. You have given out 54,417 points! That means you have read 54,417 answers. I haven't read quite that many, but it's all been fun.

Thank you, Cheryl. I was surprised to see that I have amassed to many points--I have created only two profiles. But it seems my contributions have been gaining me points-many of them from you. You have given out  an amazing 20,060 up votes. When I looked at the questions you've answered, recently, most of them say that someone is a Wonderful Wikitreer. I don't know if there is an award for cheerleading, but if there is, you should have it! Thank you.

Thank you, Tammie. I didn't recognize your name, so I looked you up. You've been busy congratulating other people's achievements. If there is a badge for cheerleading, you should have it!
Thank you, Joyce!  I think everyone should receive kudos for their accomplishments.  I have spent many years as a volunteer and many times it goes un-noticed.  I realize that we do not do it for the recognition, but sometimes it is nice.

Congratulations Joyce. It is always great to see your involvment, and have great conversations with you.
by Ben Molesworth G2G6 Pilot (121k points)

Thank you, Ben! I am surprised that I have amassed so many points. I have created only two profiles. The first one was for Mary Berry (Berry 17665), Countess of Lanesborough. I would never have known of her if you hadn't posted the story about another countess of Lanesborough, and I never would have created her profile if I thought no one would ever read it. I love that Wikitree is a collaborative effort.

Thank you, Mark! One of my favorite discoveries was the Erie Canal and the Harmony Mills. It's great to have people to share things with.
