Jason, I suggest if you have not already done so, take the "New Member How To" link left by your Greeter on your profile page and go through that a step at a time. To add your family, start with your profile page, click on "Family Tree & Tools" and begin adding your family, your father, your mother, then your grandparents, etc. The more you do that, the easier it will get. Come here and ask questions as they arise or ask your Greeter.
Another idea is to click on the Help button and go through the topics listed on the drop down menu.
