Could John's wife have been Deborah Hadley (Hadley-1023)?

I'm working on adding WikiTree IDs to an expanded abstract of Simon Hadley's will (Hadley-133).  He mentions his grandchildren by his son Joseph (Hadley-91), including Deborah, wife of John... Earle or Carl (according to A calendar of Delaware wills, New Castle County, 1682-1800, By National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Delaware. Historical Research Committee) or John Curle (according to a transcript of Simon's will).

Your transciption of Simon Hadley's will also mentions his grand-daughter, Hannah, wife of Samuel Curle, and also dau of Joseph Hadley. If what you have on John Curle is accurate, John had a brother Samuel, so perhaps brothers married sisters?

Have you found a will of Joseph Hadley (father of Deborah)? Or any Curle wills that might mention Hadley family members?

Thanks for the suggestions.  I agree that it's likely brothers married sisters.  I asked the question of Curle-10 in particular in case anyone familiar with that profile might know of a link, or be led to the annotated abstract and find other matches.  Haven't found a will for Joseph yet, but I must admit I wasn't looking.  My involvement with the Hadleys is through the Dix(s)on/Dickson connections as I search for proof of John's wife & parents (I'm 3x gr-granddaughter of John's son Zachariah Dixon-1237).  I just like to share the neat stuff along the way.  Cheers, Liz
