Who are the parents of Ralph Baguley?

Ralph Baguley, lord of Ollerton Hall and ancestor of the New England Bigelow family, is currently shown as son of Richard de Baguley and Alice Verdun.  Is there any evidence for this?

The Bigelow Society's report on early Baguleys in England lists Ralph as the earliest proven progenitor, not mentioning a father; see http://bigelowsociety.com/Baguley.html

(However, it seems that Ralph Baguley was the descendant of a much earlier Hamon de Baguley, the first of the family to be lord of Ollerton Hall.)

Hi Jillaine, I'll have to admit that site isn't very user-friendly, so I'll summarize:

1.  There was a Ralph Baguley, son of Richard and Alice, in the reign of Henry III (that is, in the 13th century).

2.  This Ralph had three sons, the youngest of which was Hamon.

3.  Hamon Baguley was the first of the family to hold Ollerton Hall in Knutsford, Cheshire.

4.  Moving ahead a couple centuries, "In the reign of King Henry the Seventh, Ralph Baguley was lord of Ollerton Hall."

Who were the parents of this 16th-century Ralph Baguley?

I saw a similar situation in the first fradulent royal lineage that I debunked when I was a teenager -- the names of a medieval couple were "recycled" 200 years later to provide imaginary parents in a later generation.  Perhaps the same thing has happened here, or perhaps it is a case of someone who was genuinely confused.
