Margot, you might get more responses if you said more about the genealogy  you've done. On what families? From what locations? Linking to a profile page or other web page where we can find more information would also help others know if they might be interested in the information you have.

Margot,

Thank you for volunteering to help. Since your data goes back to the late 1600's, there will probably be a number of matching profiles already on WikiTree with which you will be able to merge. Your information will be a great addition to the records we already have. Once you've uploaded your GEDCOM or entered your data manually, people will have an idea of where collaboration can begin. We're always pleased to have new members join us, especially experienced genealogists who can really help in the goal of creating a worldwide family tree.

Following is a link that gives you information about uploading a GEDCOM:

We have several groups working on different projects where help is often needed:

There are people who are categorizing locations and others working on the maintenance of the site by merging duplicate files. The G2G Unanswered questions category always has many requests.

There are plenty of ways to help at WikiTree. Thanks for joining our worldwide community!smiley

NICE answer, Debby.
I am tracing my Maternal roots of the TERRY NAME and from records an ancestry.com, it leads to SAMUEL TERRY of London England.

My Great Grandfather, BERTIE TERRY is one of the children of SIDNEY SAMUEL TERRY( son of Reuben Eggleston Terry  and Mary Diantha Crandall) and ELLA FRANCES LOOMIS.

Do you have records on these names to support this research? I also want to go further into the 1600 and earlier, as I find thie fascinating and amazing as well and would deeply appreciate  any added data you may have .Thank you and God Bless.

Myrna

I was born Elizabeth Louise Larrabee in Salem, MA 1925. Father: Arthur Larrabee; Mother: Marjorie E. Withee. Mother from Madison Maine. Father lived in Saco but roots may be in MA. I think his father was Alphonzo. Alphonse, Alfonso...cannot find any records. Seems as if he fell into a pit and never found. Can you help?

Just a thought, Liz: You mention Maine and Massachusetts in the 1800s - a couple of names similar to Alphonzo that were popular/common in that time period are Alonzo and Almanzo, so you might like to look for those too.
