History of Brazoria County Texas - Ogburns, Williamsons and Dances

I am compiling the history of the Ogburns, Williamsons and Dances of Brazoria County, Texas.

I have traced the Ogburns and Dances back past the 1700s but the Williamsons are still a mystery.  Also it would be great to know more about all of their roles in history (wars, politics, merchants, ect).

Thanks

I added the profile for Matthew Bynum Williamson to your question.  Is that an ancestor you were searching for information for?

It looks like his parents were M(att) Williamson and Betty/Elizabeth Bynum.
